Dan D’Agostino of Plan Architecture in Little Falls contracts Broadway Kitchens & Baths to handle the kitchen remodeling as a standard colonial-style home in bergen county gets a transitional transformation.
The renovation consisted of additions at the back and side of the home. The brick façade was painted white for a more transitional look.
D’Agostino specified large windows for the addition (at right in the photo) to ensure the long room receives sufficient natural light.
Stainless steel appliances and accents of industrial pendants over the island are ideal choices for the unfussy kitchen. The open plan allows easy traffic flow between the kitchen, eating area and great room. Kitchen Designed by: Ralph DeStefano of Broadway Kitchens & Baths
The breakfast area and the formal living room are separated by sliding barn doors. Though barn doors are usually chosen for more rustic spaces, these feature a more contemporary design. The fireplace bricks are painted the same color as the home’s exterior
Streamlined furnishings give the newly wide-open family room a modern vibe.
The mudroom features cabinetry made from reclaimed wood.
