The Dwyer Warehouse was an extraordinary building and a Harlem landmark. It is appropriate that it be rebuilt. There are neighborhoods in Manhattan that are beautiful and historic and helped to define America for the world. Harlem is one of them and its landmarks and context deserve preservation. We aspire to make the Dwyer an exhilarating reinvention of the original. With the Dwyer the opportunity presented itself to turn large portions of the exterior walls to glass.
